My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139 Review

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139 Review

America’s #1 Hero

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139 is the first episode of the new season. This was an alright episode. We got our formal introduction to America’s #1 hero, Star and Stripe, including her quirk. So, that was cool. But, the action in this episode was a bit lacking.

Let’s talk about Star and Stripe. She’s cool. Why? Because she’s super strong. In general, the heroes I think are cool are those who are either super strong or who have a super niche quirk. All Might at full strength is cool. And, as I’ve said many times, Rock Lock is my favorite hero. I love his quirk.

Star and Stripe is like a mix of both categories. Yes, she’s extremely strong and has a very versatile quirk. But, her quirk is also oddly specific. It can do a lot of different things, but it has rules.

Cathleen Bate from the anime series My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139
Cathleen Bate

I’ll get into Star and Stripe’s quirk more in a bit. For now, though, who is she as a person? She’s kind of the most American a superhero can be. She’s super buff, blonde, and has a somewhat generic “American” name. Spelling Cathleen with a C is a choice. But, Bate is pretty generic as a last name.

As you’d expect of America’s #1 hero, she’s also affiliated with the US Military. Of course, the United States would enlist its strongest heroes into its armed forces. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the US is doing human experimentation to manufacture stronger quirks.

Anyway, Cathleen also has her own Air Force squadron. These pilots serve as her personal transportation and also support her in combat. So, villains, watch out. You don’t only have to worry about America’s #1 hero. You also have to worry about her stealth fighters equipped with lasers.

Star and Stripe (Female All Might)

In a lot of ways, Star and Stripe is the female All Might. She doesn’t have the same quirk as All Might, obviously. And, her quirk isn’t even that similar to All Might’s. But, she emulates All Might in almost everything she does.

She has hair antennae, just like all might. And, her superhero outfit is even reminiscent of All Might’s, though with more of an American flair. With that said, the outfit similarity could also be because All Might’s outfit is actually based on American superhero outfits.

Of course, these two are also similar in how muscular they are. Well, All Might isn’t muscular anymore, but you get the idea. The difference between these two here is that All Might’s muscles were kind of a product of his quirk. Star and Stripe’s muscles are all-natural — maybe.

Star and Stripe fighting Shigaraki from the anime series My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139
Star and Stripe fighting Shigaraki

Now, no matter what she does, Star and Stripe can’t be as strong as All Might. Unless you have All for One or whatever Muscular’s quirk is called, the human body can’t stand being that strong. So, Star and Stripe uses her own quirk to power herself up as much as her body can handle.

This is why I say that her muscles might be all-natural. She’s ripped even when not fighting villains. But, it’s also possible that she has her quirk active on her own body 24/7. If she does, then she might not be as ripped as she looks.

Why does Star and Stripe try to hard to emulate All Might, though? Well, as with Deku, All Might saved her when she was a child. He was an exchange student in the US at the time and stopped the car she was in from getting crushed. Ever since, she wanted to be like him.

Quirk: New Order

Okay, enough stalling. It’s time to talk about Star and Stripe’s quirk: New Order. This is one of the most powerful quirks out there. I’d say it’s on par with All-for-One and One-for-All. And it’s definitely above a quirk like Endeavor’s.

If Star and Stripe touches something and says its name (or what it’s called), she can then create a new “rule” for it to abide by. The very first time we see her use her quirk, she uses it on the air itself. She makes all the air around Shigaraki disappear, creating a vacuum.

That’s not the only way she uses her quirk in this fight, though. She also touches lasers and makes them grabable. And, she touches Shigaraki and says that if he moves, his heart will stop. Again, this is one of the most powerful quirks.

Star and Stripe using her quirk on Shigaraki from the anime series My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139
Star and Stripe using her quirk on Shigaraki

What about the constraints on her quirk? Needing to touch and name the object/person she touched is the first constraint. That’s not always going to be an easy thing to do — as we saw with Shigaraki. Sure, she touched him, but because his identity is combining with All-for-One’s, he’s not Shigaraki.

I’d also imagine she’d have a tough time fighting someone like Mirio. She literally wouldn’t be able to touch him. And, even if she bends the rules for other objects, Mirio can phase through those, as well. But, there is one thing that might work against him.

What if Star and Stripe sets a rule on her fist that other objects can’t pass through it? Would it then be able to hit Mirio?

Anyway, the second constraint is that she can only have two rules active at once. Though, at the end of the episode, I think she had three.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 139? Star and Stripe might be America’s #1 hero. But, do you think she’s the strongest hero in the world right now? How did you feel about her quirk not working on Shigaraki? And, how do you think she’ll use it on the incoming ICBMs?

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53 Review

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53 Review

Meeting of Lubelius Knights

Okay, so I know I complained about the majority of the previous episode being a meeting. But, literally 99% of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53 was a meeting. This season really is nothing more than a meeting simulator.

With that said, I actually didn’t find this episode to be as boring as the previous episodes. Though, I can’t say I knew what was going on the entire time. It looks like there’s a lot of stuff I’ve forgotten from the earlier seasons.

I mean, at least this meeting was about interesting stuff: The potential threat of Rimuru and Veldora. The meetings from the episodes before this one were all about mundane things like ensuring roads are safe. I don’t care about any of that small-scale stuff. I want to know more about the politics of this world on a macro-scale.

Hinata leading a meeting of knights from the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53
Hinata leading a meeting of knights

Now, this meeting of the Lubelius Knights didn’t go as I expected. They all agreed that Rimuru is very dangerous and that he’s an awakened Demon Lord. I thought there were more awakened Demon Lords. But, apparently, it’s only Rimuru, Guy, and Milim.

It could be that there are more who are awakened, but that their awakening isn’t common knowledge. Like, Carrion and Freya not being awakened is fine. But, are you telling me that Valentine isn’t awakened? That seems pretty unlikely. I’m sure someone will tell me if I’m wrong, though.

Anyway, at this meeting, they also all agree that Veldora is even more of a threat than Rimuru. And yet, the conclusion Hinata comes to is that Lubelius won’t act. She pretty much says that Rimuru and Veldora are too dangerous to fight, and so Lubelius won’t fight. That seemed pretty easy for Rimuru.

The Seven Luminaries’ Schemes

One of the things I forgot about that came up in this episode was the Seven Luminaries. That name sounds familiar, so I’m sure they were at least mentioned in a previous season. But, I have no recollection of Hinata defeating them and taking their abilities.

And, on a related note, I completely forgot that Hinata is an otherworlder unless this was brand-new information. I thought Shizu was an otherworlder who adopted Hinata in this world. I didn’t remember them both being otherworlders. Wasn’t there a whole plotline about Hinata not understanding how Rimuru and Shizu were from the same place?

I thought that was one of the major reasons why Hinata was Rimuru’s enemy. She thought Rimuru killed Hinata, yes. But also, she didn’t believe that Rimuru actually had something in common with Hinata. Well, I guess she believes him now, for some reason.

The Seven Luminaries from the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53
The Seven Luminaries

Okay, but, back to the Seven Luminaries. These old guys seem to be up to something. Reyhiem was supposed to have been converted to Tempest’s side. And yet, after the Seven Luminaries show up, he tells Hinata and the knights the truth. It wasn’t Veldora who destroyed Falmuth’s army, it was Rimuru.

That was odd. But then, the Seven Luminaries are also the ones who prompt Reyhiem to give Hinata the message from Rimuru. We don’t know what this message was supposed to say. However, my impression is that someone altered it. In it, Rimuru challenges Hinata to a duel. But, when we see Rimuru at the end of the episode, he seems surprised that she wants to fight.

Finally, Reyhiem suddenly dies at some point. So it seems pretty clear that the Seven Luminaries were using him to pit Hinata and Tempest against each other. Will it work?

The Dragon Buster

As part of their schemes, the Seven Luminaries give Hinata a special sword: The Dragon Buster. Considering they had just said that nothing could wound Veldora, I have to assume they meant nothing but this sword. So, it’s pretty obvious what they want Hinata to do.

They want her to die.

I mean, sure, they want her to slay Veldora, too. But, as Hinata points out, that’s likely only half of their plan. The best outcome for the Seven Luminaries would be for both Veldora and Hinata to kill each other.

So, what are the other outcomes, and how good are they for the Seven Luminaries? The next best outcome is probably for Hinata alone to die. She seems to be a problem for the Seven Luminaries. And, if she dies, it’s possible that they’ll get back the powers she took from them.

The Dragon Buster sword from the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Episode 53
The Dragon Buster sword

After that, there’s Hinata killing Veldora. Yes, Veldora is a huge threat to the world. But, is he a huge threat to the Seven Luminaries personally? I doubt it. They’re more concerned with Hinata. And, if Hinata slays Veldora and survives, that could actually be bad for them — it would make Hinata a true hero.

Then, there’s the possibility that things stay as they currently are. Both Veldora and Hinata would be alive, which is bad. But, at least they’re enemies — in theory. The status quo isn’t great, but it’s not the worst outcome.

Of course, the worst outcome would be for Hinata and Tempest to ally with each other. That’s the thing that the Seven Luminaries want to stop at all costs. This is also likely why they altered Rimuru’s message to her and gave her the Dragon Buster. They’re trying to antagonize both sides against each other.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of Tensura Season 3 Episode 53? Even though this episode was all one, long meeting, did you find it more interesting than the earlier episodes? How do you think the Seven Luminaries are going to interfere next? And, what do you expect to be the outcome of Rimuru and Hinata’s meeting?

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4 Review

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4 Review

Going on a Date with Megumin

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4 had some twists that weren’t really twists. But, that didn’t stop the episode from being another great one. Predictability doesn’t matter quite as much in a comedy series.

Sure, if you can predict the punchline of every joke, it might not be funny. However, KonoSuba, at least to me, uses predictability as part of the joke. And, a good example of this comes when Megumin asks Kazuma to go on a date with her.

The setup of this joke is the fact that Megumin’s acting extra cute. I’d say she’s always cute. But, Kazuma notes that normally she wouldn’t be so concerned about him. So, when she asks him out on a date, the implication is that she’s finally being true to her feelings for him.

Megumin asking Kazuma out on a date from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4
Megumin asking Kazuma out on a date

Well, that’s what the implication would be to someone who doesn’t know Megumin. As soon as she asked Kazuma to go on a date with her, I knew where this was going. You also likely knew where this was going. There’s only one reason why Megumin would ever ask Kazuma to go somewhere with her alone.

Explosion magic.

And, what do you know? That’s exactly what this was about. Megumin wanted Kazuma to go with her so that he could carry her back after she used her magic. This was the obvious outcome. But, that didn’t ruin the joke. The joke worked because we knew it was the obvious outcome.

When you really think about it, though, to Megumin, this is a date. Her idea of a date is traveling outside of town and blowing something up. In that sense, she didn’t lie. And, Kazuma also gets to carry a cute girl back home. It’s a win-win.

A Thief in the Night

Alright, so, I brought up the whole predictability thing with Megumin to segue into this. In my review of Episode 3, I predicted that Chris would be the noble thief. And, look at that. I was correct.

Again, the fact that this outcome seemed very predictable didn’t ruin any of the comedy. The surprise that it was Chris wasn’t the joke in and of itself. Chris being the noble thief is what led to the joke of Kazuma not wanting to get involved. Because Kazuma knows Chris, she tries to rope him into her scheme.

What is her scheme? Well, it’s a little different than what we were first told by the nobles. The initial setup was that this noble thief was stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. Chris might be doing that. But, that’s not her main goal.

Chris scared of getting caught from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4
Chris scared of getting caught

What she’s really after are the treasures that reincarnated “heroes” are bringing into this world. Things like Mitsuki’s cursed sword. Why? We don’t yet know. She says she can’t reveal her employer or why they want her to gather these items. But, I’m assuming it’s because they’re dangerous.

Think of it this way. Mitsuki being reincarnated as a hero and having a cursed sword is fine. But, what about after Mitsuki dies? Or, what about if someone were to steal his cursed sword and sell it? Then, you have a cursed sword floating around out there that could get into the wrong hands.

Now, although I don’t know who Chris’s employer is, I have a strong feeling about something else. From what I remember, Mitsuki never got his sword back after Kazuma sold it. So, I’m predicting that it’ll turn up in the hands of one of the Demon King’s Generals.

Time to Fight the Demon King’s Army

At the end of Episode 4, the Demon King’s army has arrived outside the Royal Capital. This seems like something that happens pretty frequently. So, it’s probably not a huge issue.

But, as a Crusader, Darkness wants to join the fight — and she wants to bring Kazuma, Aqua, and Megumin.

As you might expect, Kazuma isn’t too thrilled by this. He doesn’t want to get into dangerous situations. All he’s looking for is a cozy, safe, carefree life. Facing off against the Demon Lord’s army on the battlefield is the exact opposite of that.

However, he does eventually come around after realizing something important. He doesn’t need to put himself in too much danger. But, if he can show off his heroics during this battle, he might be able to live out the rest of his days in the castle with Iris.

Megumin declaring she's going to wipe out the Demon King's army from the anime series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4
Megumin declaring she’s going to wipe out the Demon King’s army

Aqua also doesn’t want to fight against the Demon King’s army. But, unlike Kazuma, she doesn’t come around to it in the end. You’d think she’d be pushing Kazuma to go, though, considering she needs him to defeat the Demon King. That’s her only way back to heaven.

And, Megumin doesn’t need to be asked twice. Not only does she want to fight the Demon King’s army. But, she wants to be the first one there. If she can arrive on the battlefield before the capital’s knights, she can blow away the enemy army with a single spell.

Sure, she could also do that after the knights are there. However, once the battle gets underway, it’ll be impossible for her to use her magic without taking out friendly soldiers, as well. And, she wants all the glory for herself.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! 3 Episode 4? Did you see the “date” with Megumin going like that before the reveal? Did you predict that the noble thief would be Chris? And, who do you think Chris’s employer is?

One Piece Episode 1102 Review

One Piece Episode 1102 Review

Kuma Attacks the Red Port

One Piece Episode 1102 didn’t have the action of the previous two episodes. Instead, it was more about the plan to save Dr. Vegapunk from the Navy. So, it was a decent episode, overall, but not a great one.

Before getting into the stuff with Vegapunk, though, I want to talk about Bartholomew Kuma. The last time we saw him, he had escaped from the Kamabakka Kingdom. There, the Revolutionary Army was treating him, attempting to restore his mind. And, I guess their work paid off — to an extent.

It’s unclear if Kuma leaving the island and heading towards Egghead was his programming. It could have been. It’s very possible that Vegapunk programmed Kuma to come to his rescue if needed. But, from what we saw in Episode 1102, that doesn’t seem to be quite the case.

Bartholomew Kuma falling after crashing into the Red Line

Now, as we know, Egghead Island is in the New World half of the Grand Line. And, the Kamabakka Kingdom is in the Paradise Half. So, that means Kuma has to travel over the Red Line to get from one to the other. However, it appears he’s unable to do this in his current state.

At least, he’s unable to get from the Kamabakka Kingdom to Egghead in one go. We see him crash directly into the Red Line and fall to the Red Port. And, this is where his humanity begins to show. Kuma was visibly in pain and struggling. That’s not what I would expect from a mindless robot.

Either the Revolutionary Army was somewhat successful in reversing Vegapunk’s work. Or, what I think is more likely, Vegapunk never erased Kuma’s personality, to begin with. My guess is that he suppressed Kuma’s personality, but built in a trigger to release it.

Assault on the Control Room

With the defeat of Sentoumaru, the Seraphim are now under the control of CP0. This makes sense based on what we see in the OP. At one point, it shows some of the major fights we can expect in this arc and Zoro vs. S-Snake is one of them.

In fact, this fight is happening directly in front of the control room of the Labophase. How do I know that? Did I read ahead in the manga? No. There’s a doorway that literally says “CONTROL ROOM” above it in the background of their fight.

From this, we can be pretty sure CP0 is going to make it that far. And, you know, we also saw the Frontier Dome get shut down in this episode. So, there’s nothing in between CP0 and the Labophase at this point. Or, is there?

CP0 on Egghead Island from the anime series One Piece Episode 1102
CP0 on Egghead Island

Apparently, there’s someone else on the island whom Vegapunk is counting on to save him. It’s a woman whose identity we don’t yet know. But, we know that she’s strong enough that Vegapunk thinks she can stop CP0. And, my assumption is that she’s the one who disabled the Frontier Dome to lure CP0 in.

Who could this mystery woman be? Edison says it’s someone who will have to leave if they take Vegapunk’s side. And, he also says the World Government will hunt them down. So, it’s not someone the World Government is currently after. Or, if it is, they don’t know where this woman is at the moment.

That doesn’t give us a lot of information. But, I’m going to say it’s either a very strong pirate or a very strong Marine. And, I can’t think of any very strong female Marines who would be on Egghead. So, she must be a pirate, right?

Rescuing Stella and the Satellites

I’m not sure if we’ve heard this before, but the Satellites refer to Dr. Vegapunk as Stella. The first time they said it, I thought they were talking about some other character. But, then I realized my mistake. Stella is Dr. Vegapunk. However, no, that’s not his first name.

They call him Stella (Star) because they’re his Satellites (objects that orbit something, like a star). Why do they do this? Because science — particularly space — stuff is part of Vegapunk’s character. That’s why he sometimes says “Quasar” at the end of his sentences. He’s a nerd.

Anyway, the plan is, apparently, not only for the Straw Hats to rescue Vegapunk. They need to rescue Vegapunk and the Satellites. And, that’s going to be a bit more difficult for two main reasons. The first is that this means the Satellites can’t sacrifice themselves to let Vegapunk get away.

Sanji fawning over Lilith from the anime series One Piece Episode 1102
Sanji fawning over Lilith

The second is that Atlas is BIG. Bringing Vegapunk aboard the Sunny is no problem. Even bringing Shaka, Lilith, Edison, Pythagoras, and York shouldn’t be an issue. Sure, the Sunny will be a bit cramped. But, it’s actually much bigger on the inside than it looks.

Atlas is an issue, though. I don’t know exactly how big she is compared to the Sunny. But, I feel confident in saying that she’s too big to ride on it. She’d take up the entire deck. So, what are they going to do about that?

One option is for Atlas to simply not ride aboard the Sunny. The Vegaforce-01 might be large enough to carry her. And, another option is for Atlas to be shrunk down to a smaller size. This seems doable since she’s a cyborg. Put her “brain” in a smaller version of herself and call it a day.

Final Thoughts

What do you think of One Piece Episode 1102? Do you think Kuma’s personality and memories were intentionally suppressed instead of erased? Who do you think the mysterious woman who’s going to save Vegapunk is? And, how many of the Satellites do you think will successfully make it off the island?

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 16 Review

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 16 Review

Ruijerd, Protector of Children

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 16 was a good episode. “Isn’t every Mushoku Tensei episode a good episode?” To an extent, yes. But, so far, Season 2 Part 2 hasn’t been all that exciting. Episode 16, however, was a good episode.

One of the main reasons it was a good episode was because Ruijerd was in it. Though, his mere existence isn’t enough. Ruijerd made the episode good because of the information we got from him. We know who he’s seen, who he hasn’t seen, and who he’s been traveling with.

Let’s start with who Ruijerd met up with before traveling to Ranoa. Obviously, he saw Paul, who tasked him with escorting Norn and Aisha. And, this is important because it shows that Paul trusts Ruijerd with those most important to him. Ruijerd also met Roxy, and we learned that she’s still terrified of Superds.

Ruijerd saying goodbye to Aisha

Who didn’t Ruijerd meet? Well, he didn’t meet Eris. He hasn’t seen her since he split off from Rudeus and Eris when they arrived back in Fittoa. Unfortunately, that means he can’t tell Rudeus (and us) what Eris has been up to. But, that lack of information is information in itself.

Ruijerd had to hear about what happened between Rudeus and Eris from Rudeus. And, he rightly points out that Rudeus might not have understood what Eris was trying to say. After all, Eris has never been good with her words. When Ruijerd said that, it showed me how well he knows those two.

Finally, who has Ruijerd been traveling with? Of course, there was Norn and Aisha. But, there was also someone else: Ginger. Who? I had to look her up because I forgot — she’s apparently a former guard of Zanoba’s.

The Maid and the Student

Norn and Aisha are very different. They’re effectively twins since they were born at about the same time. But, they have different mothers. Norn is Zenith’s daughter, making her Rudeus’s full sibling. And, Aisha is Lilia’s daughter, making her Rudeus’s half-sibling.

That’s not what I mean when I say they’re very different, though. I mean that their personalities are complete opposites. Norn is shy — she likes her parents, Aisha, and now Ruijerd. Aisha is extremely outgoing and seems to be able to make friends wherever she goes.

These differences are very apparent when both girls interact with Rudeus. Norn hates Rudeus, which I’ll discuss more in the next section. On the other hand, Aisha loves Rudeus and wants to do everything she can for him. However, Rudeus doesn’t treat either of his sisters differently. Who their mothers are or how they treat him doesn’t matter.

Aisha hanging sheets up to dry from the anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 16
Aisha hanging sheets up to dry

There were a few reasons why Paul sent Norn and Aisha to Rudeus. He didn’t want to have to take them on the dangerous journey to save Zenith. He wanted them to stay with family. And, he wanted them to be able to go to school.

Norn doesn’t want to live with her family (Rudeus). And Aisha doesn’t want to go to school (the University of Magic). So, Rudeus makes deals with both of them.

He’ll allow Norn to live in the dorms as long as she does well in school and visits at least once every 10 days. And, he’ll let Aisha be his maid instead of going to school if she does well on the entrance exam.

Aisha has no problem passing the exam, thus proving that she’s smart enough already (I guess?) But, things aren’t going to be so straightforward with Norn.

Why Does Norn Hate Rudeus?

Let’s talk about why Norn hates Rudeus. In this episode, she gives two reasons. First, she says that he’s with a different woman than the last time she saw him. And second, she says that he hit their father. Both of those things are true.

But, I think there’s actually something else that’s the real reason why she doesn’t like him. Before I get to that, though, let me explain why her reasons don’t make much sense.

Okay, so, has nobody told Norn who the woman Rudeus was with the last time she saw him was? That was Eris — Rudeus’s cousin. Sure, Rudeus loves/d Eris. But, that doesn’t change the fact that they’re cousins. It’s not like they were a romantic couple like Rudeus and Sylphie are.

Norn should understand that her brother and her cousin aren’t together.

Norn asking for directions to a classroom from the anime series Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 Episode 16
Norn asking for directions to a classroom

What about Rudeus hitting their father? Well, should that even matter at this point? Paul trusts Rudeus enough to send Norn and Aisha to live with him. Shouldn’t that show Norn that there are no hard feelings between them? Norn trusts Paul and Paul trusts Rudeus.

If we say that’s not enough, then what about Ruijerd? Norn trusts Ruijerd to the point that she asks if she can continue traveling with him. But, we also know that Ruijerd trusts Rudeus. Surely, Ruijerd told Aisha and Norn stories of his travels with Rudeus and Eris. I guarantee Aisha asked him about that many times.

And, if Ruijerd told those stories, I’m sure he focused on Rudeus’s good points.

There’s even more evidence working against Norn, though. What about the fact that Rudeus cares about her despite how she treats him? All of this is why I think something else is going on.

Final Thoughts

My prediction is that Norn “hates” Rudeus because he wasn’t there for her when she was growing up. Now, that’s not Rudeus’s fault — he got teleported to the Demon Continent. But, I can see how Norn would grow up thinking that Rudeus “abandoned” her or that he wasn’t there because he “didn’t care.”

What do you think? After watching Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 16, do you think there’s a different reason for why Norn acts the way she does? Do you think she secretly wants to live with Rudeus instead of in the dorms? And, do you think she knows that how she perceives Rudeus is based on false assumptions?
